Elissey Baishev is a Russian-born, US-based movie director and scriptwriter, located in Los Angeles, California. Having graduated with a Filmmaking degree from Sheridan College in Toronto, Canada, he has directed a number of well-received short movies, winning an award for the Best Screenplay, among others. Following graduation in 2021, Elissei quickly gained valuable on-set experience and management skills working on commercials, online conference and movie production both in Canada, US and Russia. Apart from filmmaking, Elissei is knowledgeable in a wide range of topics from scuba-diving to history and martial arts, and was the leader of his high-school musical band.

Elissey Baishev is an experienced movie director and scriptwriter, having worked on multipal sets both in North America and Eastern Europe. Among his skills is operating C300 mkII camera, ARI and URSA cameras, stunt performing (ex. martial arts and firearms trainings) and use of DJI Ronin. As a scriptwriter Elissey is very experienced in Final Draft software and has written a number of succesfull scripts both in Russia and Canada. Elissey has been working in such programs as ADOBE Premier, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom for more than 10 years and is an experienced editor. Elissey is also an avid
musician, playing such instruments as Guitar, Piano and Flute.
